It's been centuries since the Northlands became just a legend, but Hero-ville still doesn't exist. In fact, we're located at a point in time when our heroes' land was known as Hirovilas.
During these hard times, Hirovilas was ruled by the good king Rawtern, whose son, Rawthorn, is the subject of our blog post. He has a sister named Miriam, and he has sworn to protect her at all costs. Rawthorn himself is small, but as brave as he is strong and sturdy. One blow from his fist takes out a heavyweight bully (which was necessary during Hero-ville's Age of Darkness) and his stout soul kept him going, sometimes pushing him into a ravenous rampage.
This story dates back to the XIX century in the timeline of Hero-ville.
As Rawthorn was throwing coins into the wishing well in the village (present-day Tech Square) word reaches his ears that King Rawtern suddenly died. In a desperate but vain attempt to figure out the cause of his father's mysterious death, Rawthorn suddenly encounters a foreigner, a Pildin corrupt named Eltheon, sitting on the throne, wearing Rawtern's crown on his head and Rawtern's blood on his hands.
Rawthorn is suddenly banished from Hirovilas and thrown into the developing Martis Forest, where an elf, by the name Rhodas, decides to help him restore his place as heir to the throne. It is during Rawthorn's return that he suddenly has strange dreams, dreams of a warrior in shiny armor teaching Rawthorn how to stand firm against everything.
(This golden warrior is an incarnation of Tiberus Fabius, LOL)
With support from his forest friend, aid from his beloved sister, and advice from his spirit companion, Rawthorn must master his own fears, draw his slender sword, and strike down Eltheon and his minions.
All while having to resist his absolute love for Millie, Eltheon's daughter.
