During Heroville's Age of Gold, when the Northlands were still a land full of castles, when the Necrolord was still King Cassady, there was a farmboy in Cadelia with the name Fabius. He was found orphaned in the streets of the city by Cadelia's cattle raiser, Grotto. Since then, Fabius has taken care of the farmland without any sense of his true identity.
Until he is persecuted by soldiers.
When Grotto reveals Fabius as the son of the Cadelian General, the boy sees to it that he finds the General so as to know his true destiny. He then is easily promoted to Captain of the Guard in the Northlands.
During the Northlands War, he lost his left arm in action, and Ergos replaced it with a new metal harpoon-ish one.
